My Biography

My name is KodjoWelbeck. I was born in Togo, a country located in West Africa and precisely in the city called Lome.  I came to the United States on February 7, 2010. I have two brothers and two sisters. Both my brothers are older than me and I am older than one of my sisters. I have been attending Phoenix College since fall 2010. I am a premed major and my life goals are to finish my Associates Degree in Science by spring 2013, transfer to ASU to pursue my Bachelor in Biology (Cells, Genetics and Developmental Biology) and then apply for medical school. For my medical school, I would like to attend Stanford University medical school in California. I like to listen to music and have fun with my friends. My hobby is playing and watching soccer. One of my favorite quotes that I believe in is “Nobody plans to fail but we just fail to plan”. So, once you plan to do something in life, you will certainly do it. To finish, it is a great honor for me to be a S STEM Scholar at Phoenix College. I hope the internship and projects that I will be doing will help me enhance my experience in Science and successfully achieve  my career goals.
